Hi Team,
I have Filter created that fetches a bunch of Jira tickets based on the JQL.
Subscription created for this filter only triggers email to me (owner of filter + subscription).
I want to configure the recipients list and ensure my entire team receives the Subscription results.
How can I accomplish it?
PLEASE HELP!
Hi @Laxman
Thanks for reaching out. In a first time you have to ensure that all wanted people can view the filter (Viewers).
Once the first point done, go to Filters -> View all Filters -> 3 dots -> Manage subscription and here you can click on Add subscription and add all wanted people.
I hope this can help you, if is not the case let me know with more details.
Regards,
JM
I did work with my colleague on his filter.
I was given View/Edit permissions for the filter.
Later, we have run the Subscription. But only my colleague received the notification but not me.
The Subscription creation dialog box Recipient's drop-down has only the following options. It doesn't have a provision to add a user explicity.
1. Personal Subscription.
2. Expert services
3. access-confluence
4. access-jira
5. Jira-servicemanagment-customer-<companyname>
6. users
please let me know how to add desired users or project or group?

Hi @Laxman
Welcome to the community !!
You must have the 'Manage Group Filter Subscriptions' global permission.
Be aware that the emailed filter results will be specific to each recipient. For example, if the filter uses the currentUser() function, the search results will be evaluated with the recipient as the current user. This does not apply to distribution lists (group email aliases).
Even if you add any groups to Filter subscriptions, Jira will modify the list of tickets in email and send only tickets for users with Browse permission on the project.
For Example:
If a group contains User A and B where only User A has browse permissions to the project tickets, in the Filter subscription emails sent to A and B, only A's email will have the list of tickets.
Some more details are described in https://support.atlassian.com/jira-software-cloud/docs/manage-filters/#Subscribe-to-a-filter
