Export labels in one column

agnes BOURLON September 29, 2024

Hi

I would like to export fields in csv with a separator and within the fields like labels or fixVersion, use a different separator for the differents values these fields could take.
At the end, open a excel file with only one field labels and not a field for each value !

Easy to load data from Powerbi for sample... having exactly the same columns number !

How can I do this please?
Thx in advance

Agnes

Hi @agnes BOURLON

as already suggested, I'm afraid that you'll need an add-on/plugin for this, at least until JRASERVER-63747 is fixed.

If I may provide a concrete recommendation: My team and I work on an app that wouldn't only solve this specific problem for you, but also provide a ton of other features that I think you might like: JXL for Jira.

JXL is a full-fledged spreadsheet/table view for your issues that allows viewing, inline-editing, sorting, and filtering by all your issue fields, much like you’d do in e.g. Excel or Google Sheets. It also comes with a long list of advanced features, including support for (configurable) issue hierarchies, issue grouping by any issue field(s), sum-ups, or conditional formatting.

Plus, of course, it exports labels (and another multi-value fields) to CSV just like you would expect.

This is how it looks in action:

Any questions just let me know,

Best,

Hannes
