We have noticed when an issue is opened that the email shows it was sent out as the person that is listed as the reporter. Is there a way to change this so that the email is listed as coming from the creator instead of the reporter. We have lots of cases where a ticket is opened by someone other than the person reporting the issue. I know the system knows who the creator is because it sets their automatic watch notification correctly.
You can't do it with configurations. You will be able to change the Email subject or body to indicate the creator as long as you capture that in a user custom field but that also needs modification of email templates.
