By email from Atlassian. I installed 4.4.2 and encountered some problems at which they replied the release had been pulled and adviced a downgrade.

How did you find out that 4.4.1 has the same problem? Is that posted somewhere?

To clarify: 4.4.1 create issue was hanging under the same scenario, 4.4.2 corrupts the data under the scenario.

JIRA 4.4.3 has now been released. This release resolves JRA-25914 which was introduced in JIRA 4.4.2.

Due to a critical bug, we have held up the release of JIRA 4.4.2. Please monitor this blog post for all the details.

Hi Ken,

Hi,

is database performence problem(https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRA-25688) also exist in Jira 4.4.0 ?

Ken Olofsen October 14, 2011

Hi Tom, based on the affects version it does not look like this issue is present in 4.4.0.

Ken's comment is for sure - this was introduced in 4.4.1. In 4.4.1 it manifests differently - see JRA-25708 as Bob points out as well.

Just "back hack" the url.

so for linux tar.gz: http://www.atlassian.com/software/jira/downloads/binary/atlassian-jira-4.4.2.tar.gz

BUT: it seems they pulled the release!

JIRA 4.4.2 has a critical issue (JRA-25914) which may cause data corruption. You may wish to wait until JIRA 4.4.3 is released before upgrading JIRA.

Jira 4.4.0 also has the database performence problem(https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRA-25688) ?
