Date Format using JQL filter

Hi JIRA SME's

I have one question regarding the date format in JIRA. My JIRA version includes the time stamp at the end of the created date as attached .

Question: Why is my createdDate pulling all the issues from the same date? I am guesing it's because of the time-stamp issue.

Question:What could be the workaround solution for this if I'd like to pull only the issues  created  after '2019-02-13'? This is a kind of blocker in my delivery so any prompt resolution can be greatly helpful.

Hi @bipin23

Your right. Every date in jql also has a implicit timestamp which doesn't have to be 0:00. I am still not sure if the default bis always 12:00 but I think it is.

But your problem is solved if you extend your date in the jql by a timestamp to be sure it gets only tge issues you really want.

Instead of '2019-02-13' you can just use '2019-02-13 00:00' and be sure to fetch all issues of the day.

With kind regards

Mario

I just realized that you don't want v issues from the 13. February.

In this case just use as lower bound '2019-02-14 00:00"

Thanks for the prompt response @Mario Carabelli .

But when I did the changes like you suggested it is still pulling the issues from Feb 13 which I don't want to pull up.
