Dashboard to show/compare team working on Service Desk Tickets vs Software

I would like to create a dashboard for my team that is working across multiple JSM projects and software projects.

 

I do not seem to be able to report on Assignee by Project Type (service desk vs jira software project)

Hi @Stefanie Sullivan - Yes this will be difficult natively.  To do something like this cleanly, you'll want to leverage a marketplace dashboard enhancement.  

The native way (and admittedly clunky) to do this would be capturing the project type in a custom field and reporting against the custom field.  You could do this with automation (you'd want to set the rule scope to include all relevant projects):

  • TRIGGER: Issue Created
  • ACTION: Edit Issue (your custom field)
    • {{issue.project.projectTypeKey}}

Then you could use that custom field and assignee in a two-dimensional filter.
