I am currently working on a Jira integration with Crowdstrike workflow fusion. The connection was utilized using Oauth with a service account that have project admin permissions. When working in workflow the projects populate, however when i go to select a parent issue, they are not populating. I have an epic created where the alerts should be sent but its not showing in workflow fusion. Any advice ?
Hi @Tayvion Payton ,
Welcome to the community!
While I haven't used this specific integration that you've mentioned I've worked with multiple other tool integrations with Jira. In most cases it is the permissions that aren't setup correctly to perform the required actions.
"select a parent issue, they are not populating": I'm assuming that you can search and list issues in Crowdstrike and then link them to the crowdstrike ticket? For this try using the "Permission Helper" in Jira, search for the service account user and the ticket that you're searching, along with that check the Browse, Create and Edit issue permissions.
If all of these are set correctly but the plugin still doesn't respond correctly I would recommend raising a support ticket with the plugin's team, since this would be something that they would need to debug at their end.
Hope this helps!
