Create Jira issues from Slack. The Jira instance is Server and running in version 7.4.6

Dear All,

I hope you all are safe from Covid-19. 

Please help me with my below requirement.

I would like to Create Jira issues from Slack. The creation of issue should be customizable. 

The Jira instance is hosted in Server and running in version 7.4.6

Please advise if this can be achieved only through Add-on or by any other Rest calls as well.

Hi Mohan,

The official Jira Server for Slack integration provided by Atlassian doesn't currently have the functionality to create an issue in Jira Server from Slack. We do however have an open suggestion asking for that feature.

As an alternative, you could check out the Slack connector for Jira Server app by JSoftware which does include a create issue function.
