Hi,

I'd like to set up permissions in such a way that one group of users can edit stories and another can only edit subtasks/bugs.  Is this possible?

Currently it seems that the permission scheme groups all issues together without a way to distinguish between them.

Thanks

Hi Vadim,

You can use Advanced Workflow Properties and set the jira.permission.* to  the groups you would like to restrict to. This is done at the workflow level, hence allowing you to have different workflows for each issue type.

jira.permission.edit.group=jira-administrators means that only JIRA administrators can edit an issue

Thanks
