Connecting Jira to Subdomain with Server 2019

Ural Ikinci April 28, 2020

Hello,

I installed Jira Services and working perfectly right now on my Windows Server 2019.

Jira: localhost:8080

Bitbucket : localhost:7990

Confluence: localhost:8090

Working.

I want to create 3 subdomain

jira.mydomain.com

bitbucket.mydomain.com

and confluence.mydomain.com

Than, I want to redirect this 3 domain to my services.

I'm using Windows Server 2019, I checked apache and DNS documents, but didn't understand the structure.

On the Jira settings its already configrued jira.mydomain.com

But on Windows Server 2019?

Should I do it ISS, DNS or host file? Same time I am using default 80 port for my Exchange.

My Server is same time Domain Server.

Thanks.

Since you are on a windows server the easiest way to accomplish this is through a proxy.  You can learn more about how to set this up here: https://confluence.atlassian.com/kb/proxying-atlassian-server-applications-with-microsoft-internet-information-services-iis-833931378.html
