Good afternoon,

I'm preparing the migration of Confluence on the same serveur that the Jira installation.

The idea is that the Jira requirement for PostGresql is maximum 9.3

Whereas for Confluence the 9.3 will be too old and is the last being supported and will be deprecated with the next major release.

Does Jira will support a newer version of PostGres ?

Anyone having a situation like this ?

Hi @François Corvaisier

I think you must be confused with the End Of Support, where Jira still support PostgreSQL 9.3 for a limited time, and Confluence doesn't support 9.3 anymore.

Jira and Confluence will support any version of PostgreSQL >= 9.4, as shown here: Supported Platforms for Confluence and Supported Platforms for Jira.

So you can use without any issues Postgre 9.4, 9.5 or 9.6 with both Jira and Confluence.

Let me know if you have any questions,

Ok, thank you.

Perhaps indeed, so now I have to upgrade my Postgres base to 9.6.

Thank you.
