Hi,

I am trying to see if there is a way to filter by child issue fields for all child/sub-tasks?

The list view does not show this and I am unsure of how to filter multiple child issues using custom fields.

Thank you

Hello @Amisha Puri

Welcome to the Atlassian community.

What type of project are you using? Get that information from the Type column in the View All Projects page under the Projects menu.

Can you provide a screen image of the screen where you want to apply the filter?

Can you provide more detailed information about the filter that you want to apply and what you would want to see as the output?

You mentioned you want to filter by child issue fields. This implies that you want to see only child issues in the results. What fields do you want to use in the filter?

Thank you for that additional information.

In a Business project in the List view you can click on the Filter button and scroll to the bottom of the pop up to find custom fields upon which you can filter. Note that not all custom field types are supported as per the documentation.

https://support.atlassian.com/jira-work-management/docs/filter-items-to-find-what-you-need-in-your-project/#Filter-by-custom-fields-in-the-list--calendar--and-timeline-view

If you want to combine that custom field filter with only "child" type issue you may have to scroll farther up in the pop-up and select the issue types that qualify as child issue types.

Hi there,

it is a team-managed business type. As seen in the image below, the fields are custom inserted, so I'd like to filter all the child issues by filter such as "in scope". THe output i want is if filtered than all child issues that have a yes/no in the filter field show up.

Is this possible under a certain report if not in the board?
