Hi @Vidya VASUDEVAN ,

Make sure you have move issue project permission (current project) and create issue project permission (target project).

If the issue type or status of the issue is not available on the target project, you would need to select/update the issuetype or status that are available on target project.

For more details, you can check this documentation about how to move a issue to another project.

Hope it helps!

@Vidya VASUDEVAN

When you need the ability to move issues from one project to another you will need the move permission in both projects. Please check the permission scheme.

This error is a warning to check those permission in the IDEA project.
"You do not have the correct permissions to move the issues from project IDEA Affiliates for issue type Story"

If you do not have Jira admin permission, please work with admin to update those permissions or check to see if you need a new role in the IDEA project that gives you move permissions.

I hope this helps.

Hi @Vidya VASUDEVAN ,

Please make sure if you have the Project Admins rights of the "Idea" Jira Project.
