Assuming this is a bug?
1. Click on an issue and try to change the type via drop down
2. The 'Move Issue' wizard opens up and forces you to go through several steps in what used to be a one-click process.

This is not a bug, it's expected.
If we open a next-gen ticket using the old view, it will not be possible to change the issue type by only clicking on the issue type icon the same as the classic projects, it's necessary to move the ticket, so when they implemented the ability to change the issue type for next-gen, it automatically opens the "move" option.
