Changes to a screen do not display

On production instance of JIRA 4.02, I add a tab to a screen, re-index, and the new tab will not display on screen. This activity works in our development instance. What could cause this issue?

Hi,

Supposedly when you add a tab to a screen, the changes made should be reflected immediately. Hence, can you kindly check if you have added the tab in the correct screen, which is used in the specific issue operation (eg: create issue, edit issue)?

Anyway if you have configured the right screen, then can you kindly let us know the steps taken to add the tab in the screen? And also, may I know which operation is using that screen?
