I have several Jira projects for my org, and have just created a new one ("Business Intelligence". This new project uses a different workflow then many of the other projects, and a different screen. Everything is working great however I cannot change the issue type after the issue is created. This only happens for this one specific project. Is there a setting I need to change?
Error when trying to change issue type in Business Intelligence Project:
Different Issue Type Schemes and Project Associations:
Different Workflow Schemes and Associations: Note - only the Business Intelligence project is having this issue
hello @Ammaar Ahmed is the Issue Type listed in the edit screen for that project? in order to edit it, it must be there and the issue type must share the workflow with the other issue types of the project which seems to be the case from the images attached
Hi @Hernan Halabi - Elite IT Consulting Group ,
I am not sure how to verify if the Issue Type is listed in the edit screen - where do I go to check this?
Ammaar

Go to the project configuration and then select the screens tab. On it you will see the screen associated to the different issue types. Open the one that is applied to stories and you will see the list of all fields that are supposed to be shown when working on the tickets. Make sure the field issue type is listed there

Hello @Ammaar Ahmed ,
Make sure you have the Move Issues and Create Issues project permissions. Your Jira administrator can help assign any needed permissions.
