Category field not configured at story level still while creating it its asking to update Category

• Do you experience this issue whenever creating a story?
• Do you have the same issue with other issue types?
• Have you always had this issue or has something recently changed?

Your project(s) may be linked to a field configuration scheme that have the field 'Category' set as required. Can an admin check this?

whenever  creating a story its appearing , I checked on field configuration scheme as well.

Only for stories or for other issue types within that project as well?

Do you have any third party apps installed that may change the configuration of field for certain issue types?

Only for story type I have not configured still it's asking to update category
