Can we use was operator for custom field in Issue Navigator to filter records based on history of custom field

Hi Atlassian,

I have read several post and it mentioned that said feature is not available in JIRA. It's very much important to have history of changes to get appropriate reports.

Do we have any other alternative to user "Was" or "Was in" or "Was not in" operator for custom fields? Is there any custom add-on or configuration in JIRA?

I am not able to understand that why JIRA won't provide facility in Navigator as JIRA stores history of custom field and showing historical changes in History tab?

Pl. help & suggest.

This widget could not be displayed.

You might want to check out the Arsenale Dataplane add-on. They know about the past as well as the objects that are difficult to report on such as Work Logs.
