Can't set ops.bar.group.size.opsbar-transitions to 0

Ryan Grimard November 14, 2011

I want to set this property to 0 to force all actions under the workflow menu. Doesn't seem to work. Is 0 a valid value?

From the code in IssueOperationsBarUtil it's clear that you cannot set this to a value below 1.

If you have the source code, please check this method:

private int getRawNumberOfLinksToShow(final SimpleLinkSection group)

Thanks for the clarification Dieter. I hope this restriction will be made clear soon in the documentation.

What an absolute pain! So instead of having everything tidily under Available Workflow Actions in JIRA 4.0 we now have to have at least one random transition appearing to take priority then the rest of the workflow actions clumped together in a dropdown and to control which transition this is we have to go through 100 workflows modifying the transition order on every step with more than x transitions. Nice. Very enterprise-friendly.
