Hello, I created a "template project" inside my Jira so I can just import from it when creating a new project.
Problem is that I need "Software project" (which I created as a template project) but when I click to import from "Jira (software project)" after I select my template project I see only "Business project" as an option.
How can I import it as "Software project"? Thank you
@Vladislav Kresta ,
Welcome to the Atlassian Community.
I believe the problem is that in your template project you will need to go to the project access/people tab in project settings and add the administrator's group and role to the access.
Can you try that and let us know if you can then use that to copy to make a new project?
Hello and thank you!
I am so sorry but I didnt see I had the "Standard" plan checked on. Thing is we are currently on the free plan which don't have roles, is that the issue?
I can create Software project "from scratch" or from premade templates so I don't get why I cant create it from copying one of my own projects.

Yes,
That might be the issue. I believe you need to be on standard to apply templates.

Okay, didn't know it. Like I said - as I can create as many Software projects as I can, this just didn't make sense.
But thank you anyway, we will consider the Standard plan.
