I can create users, groups, and even define some project based roles. However, it is entirely unclear to me on how to limit 'external' customers from seeing 'all' projects in our OnDemand JIRA site. I've found plenty of documentation on the full-suite for regular install, but very little in the OnDemand space.

I did search a bit before posting. So any help would be appreciated.

Hello David,

You might wish to have a look at my answer for:

https://answers.atlassian.com/questions/47558/how-can-i-restrict-a-user-so-he-can-see-one-project-only
There I elaborate on how to just make one project visible to a certain (external) user.

But as you are referring to the issue security scheme you might also want to have a look at http://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRA/Configuring+Issue+Level+Security
This will allow you to make a comment for example visible to a certain group only.

All the best,

Yvonne
