In my project, we have a Feature -> Epic -> Story hierarchy.

Epics  are scenarios like customer ordering, back ordering, sales rep ordering etc.

Features are order interface, shopping cart, product list, etc. They are similar to components but setup like this in order to track the changes, ownership, design etc.

So, an epic can be linked to different features. For this reason, we have cloned the epics multiple times, and set them up in the hierarchy under each feature.

But in the Kanban board backlog, the same epic is listed multiple times, which makes it challenging to filter. Is there a way to make the stories of all the cloned epics appear under the original epic, in the kanban backlog?

Hello @Sivaprakash Murugamalai

Welcome to the Atlassian community.

What exactly do you mean by "under" the original Epic?

How would the functionality of the backlog be different if this was possible?

With only native Jira functionality the only issues that are "under" an Epic are its child issues. So I believe in that case the answer to your question is no.

Would you consider a third party plugin to meet your requirement?
