Can attachments from emails be disabled for a project?

Helen Irwin-Brooks October 20, 2013

We have 2 projects where users update their issues by email (rather than logging into JIRA) and each time they do the png files (contained in the default email signature) are added to the issue as attachments. Is there anyway to prevent this as because there are at least 3 images for each signature it means the owner has to scroll through lots of irrelevant image attachments before getting to the comments? Thanks a lot!

Hi Helen,

If you want such flexibility now, JEMH can blacklist specific attachments wherever they come from, eg email signature images.

There is also a How To showing how to set this up.

This sounds exactly what we want. I'll get onto my colleagues about the plugin.
