Can IPCM be integrated with Service Desk?

Can a phone system, such as IPCM be integrated with Service Desk?

Depends on what you mean by "integrate", but the short answer is "yes".  "How?" is a different matter - have you looked for addons and documentation about it?  What interfaces does IPCM have that might talk to JIRA?

That indeed is the question - I'm going to check around and see what I find.
What I'm curious about is how a phone call could initiate a ticket in JIRA?


You'll need to find some form of call logging interface (that's probably the easy part) and then something that can record the call in IPCM and post it as an attachment. I've seen it done with other phone related software, so I know the basics are certainly possible.
