In the planning board on the right the versions are listed, when I double click it opens a summary containing Dates, # of issues, Time spent/remaining, etc.
Can I add custom fields to that summary view that could be edited, I'm thinking a Yes/No option?

Today the only fields that can be added are number custom fields. You can add these via the Statistics button above the version list.
