Is it possible to bulk edit the status of issues in the "List" view on the board?
It seems when selecting the issues, then choosing "Edit" you're able to change some of the values such as Assignee, labels, etc but it's not possible to change the status.
When trying to change the status on the List view itself even when multiple issues are selected it only changes the status of the specific issue and not all of the issues selected.
I know that the following suggestion is being rolled out:
Might this be relevant to the specific kind of Jira projects you're using?
Thanks Harrison, it definitely seems like it's an extension of that.
We're keen to see it on software projects as well - essentially the same list view really but will add a comment to that feature request.

Just to add to Harrison's answer:
If you're looking for an immediate resolution and are open to solutions from the Atlassian Marketplace, you may want to have a look at the app that my team and I are working on:
JXL is a full-fledged spreadsheet/table view for your issues that allows viewing, inline-editing, sorting, and filtering by all your issue fields, much like you’d do in e.g. Excel or Google Sheets. It also comes with a range of advanced features - including support for (configurable) issue hierarchies, issue grouping by any issue field(s), sum-ups, or conditional formatting - and works across any number of projects.
Plus, JXL comes with a powerful, copy/paste-based inline bulk editing system that works for all editable issue fields, like so:
This works within JXL, but also between JXL and pretty much any other tool (including Excel or Google Sheets). You can update any number of issue fields and any number of issues in on action.
Any questions just let me know,
Best,
Hannes

Hey Hannes,
Thanks looks like a great app! I think this specific feature is something I'd love to be able to do natively but the JXL app looks great and could be useful for other tasks so will take a look.
