Backdating story closures

We have two months of history in our backlog, the dates issues closed etc. Accidentally every issue got opened so we had to close again, BUT our history now shows a huge spike of work to do in the charts and then it shows them all closed today, as we re-closed them. Resolved shows Today 4:30. We need to show Aug 29, 2012 as the closed issue date. I see no way to back date the closed. This is fairly important as our charts show the burn down rates, the velocity and are presented to our customer. Thanks.

you can try updating directly in your DB - we do it some times

But still now we have not seen any problmes
