Avoid email sending when issue is updated with scriptrunner escalation service

Hi Everybody,

i am using scriptrunner for updating a field when an issue is overdue.

I would like to avoid sending an email for issue updated event.

Is there a way to do that?

The only way I can think of is that you create a separate transition to CLOSE that would be used by the Escalation Service. You may then edit this transition to not fire an event to send emails. 

That's exactly what i was thinking as an alternative solution. Thanks
