I have read various posts and documentation on WebDav access to Atlassian and don't see any FAQ that addresses this.
I am able to login to my employer's Atlassian On-Demand hosted apps using a Google-based email address.
I know the password required to login, but am unable to get WebDAV to work.
I have tried just the username, username@companyname.com, and every username/password combination I can think of. The only thinkg I can picture now is that I have locked myself out from so many invalid login attempts.
What should I do if I want to reset my password? Does WebDAV use a different auth method than simply logging into Confluence or JIRA? One place in the documentation says my user type needs to be 'developer.' I see my user type as "Google User." I am in the administrator group.
Any assistance would be appreciated.
Normally you would use the same credentials you use to log into OnDemand to access the WebDAV folder...though I found a note here that might be key:
Google Marketplace Users: If you signed up for OnDemand via Google Marketplace, you should have been prompted to provide a password for Subversion access the first time you logged into Atlassian OnDemand. Use that password to access WebDAV, not your Google Apps password.
The key here was that I did not have access to 'Fisheye' within the On-demand system. Once that was added, Webdav worked
