Attachments sent from email to Jira

Hi,

I have configured service (http://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRA042/Services?clicked=jirahelp) which creates from email a task to Jira. Is it possible that Jira will receive from email attachments (pictures, .doc, .xls) also?

Yes, attachments on mail will be added as attachments on the issue in JIRA.

Our Jira is struggling with some attachments - we get "invalid mime type" in the logs when it tries to parse them. One of the things I need to debug, but it's not urgent, so I can't tell you more yet.

Is Jira are any restrictions for some fail extensions? Fox example if the email send by webmail Zimbra with attachemnts or outlook (.msg)?

What could be the problem why Jira don't read some attachments?
