Hello!

My team is using Jira Work Management in a Company-Managed project. Most of our tasks include nested sub-tasks.

However, when someone tries to filter sub-tasks on the board, the result is null. The same thing happens when a team member chooses to filter by their assigned tasks — sub-tasks do not appear in the board view.

Is this a bug, or is there a setting that can be adjusted to change this behavior?

Hi @Muhammet Bal and welcome to the Community,

this is by design, if we are talking about a Business project? Maybe provide a screenshot for clarity.

You can show Subtasks on the cards if you click "More" in the upper right corner of the Board:

It will look like this:

However, the Subtask will always "stick" with its parent and won't show up in a different column regarless its assignee.

Subtasks have always been tricky on boards unfortunately.

Hello,
Thank you for your response. However, when I create a task myself and add subtasks, I can see them. But when a team member creates a main task and assigns me a subtask, I cannot see the subtask on my board.

yeah, because the main task is probably not assigned to you.

the Subtask will always "stick" with its parent and won't show up in a different column regarless its assignee.
