Assign a story to a different project from the one it was written in

Hi,

I work with multiple teams who's SMEs are assigned to my project to do work.  I need to create a story for them to track, as well as myself. How can I generate a story in one project and assign it to another project for the work to get done.

If this can be done, can the status of the story be sent back to my project as the work is progressed in the other project.

(I know "Sweet dreams are made of these ...")

Any help you can provide would be great.

Manually, you could just create the issue, or you could clone the existing one in your project and move it into the target project (this has the advantage of automatically creating a link to the original issue, if set up right)

You don't get the feedback though, the link is just a pointer.

You'll need to look to scripting or automation apps if you want to be more clever about this.
