Anyone try Jira or Stash with Java 8 on Linux yet

I'm about to give the latest Java 8 a try on our integration systems that run JIRA and Stash. Was wondering if anyone else has tried it yet with or without success?

Hi Patrick,

Java 8 is not supported by Stash as stated here: Supported platforms - Stash. As you can see on this post it has already caused issues for a customer and we currently have a feature request for supporting it.

JIRA - Supported Plataforms also states support only to JAVA 7 at the moment. There is also a feature request for it.

I hope that this information clarifies it.
