Adding users to a group massively - JIRA CLOUD

Eva Fernandez July 4, 2017

Hello!!

I need to include 200 users in a group. To be able to make a restriction on confluence.

I do not see possible option in jira cloud, and I do not want to go user by user including it in the group. Any solution or idea?

In Cloud we are still limited, for many things that can be done in JIRA SERVER.

Thank you!

Hi Eva,

If your server instance has the group membership as you would like you can use the article titled Import users and groups that has instructions for getting your users from your Server database to your Cloud instance.

In addition, you can add multiple users in Cloud now.  When you go to Groups and click Add, you can add multiple names to the field:

In addition, there is a Suggestion to allow adding users to multiple groups at once.  You can find that Suggestion at ID-126.  If you would find that useful please vote on that issue as well!

Cheers,

Branden
