Hi,
I created an automation rule using a manual trigger. Unfortunately being in a stroy I don't find/see the Actions-Dropdown to select the rule I just set up. I am the creator of this project, so I think my rights should be fine, am using Jira Cloud free account.
Can anybody give me a hint?
Thank you!
Arthur
ahhh so easy, why didn't I just click everywhere ;) Thank you very much @Trudy Claspill , you are right, there are the rules...
Was there an update recently in the GUI? I somehow thought there really was a dropdown-button (although I have to admit I didn't use it a lot recently...
Best greetings
Arthur

There have been updates in the UI deployed to some sites recently. My site and your site are using the New Navigation.

I think @Hans Polder 's site is using the original navigation still.
This seems to have result in removal of the text label from that button, leaving only the graphic.

Hello @Arthur Krier
The missing "Actions" dropdown for triggering your manual automation rule could be due to a couple of factors, even though you’re the project creator. On a Jira Cloud Free account, some features might not be fully available, and the manual trigger might not be showing because of how the rule or issue view is configured.
If the trigger is correctly configured, the "Actions" dropdown should appear at the top right of the issue view in the new Jira issue layout.

Hi @Sahir Maharaj -- Welcome to the Atlassian Community!
Jira Cloud license level has no impact upon the behavior of the Manual Trigger, or user inputs, for automation rules.
To learn which features only apply to specific products, or license levels, please see the documentation. For example, the SLA-related triggers only apply when JSM is available.
Kind regards,
Bill

Hi Arthur,
Interesting case! Can you share a screenshot of your Automation Rule in more detail, with other parts of the Jira screen also visible? Also, please share the Story from where you wanted to execute the manual triggered automation.
It should show like this:

Hi Hans,
sorry, I accidentally answered to my initial post instead to your reply, please see there...

Hi Hans,
sure. Here the screenshot of the automation rule:

And here the view of a story where I see no 'actions'-dropdown:

Thank you for your help!
