Ранее я использовал Jira и там статус отображался в виде атрибута в задаче:

Сейчас на новом месте работы тоже используется Jira, но статус отображается на кнопке: https://disk.yandex.ru/i/bpbHD2tamxCmLA

Можно ли как то включить отображение статуса в атрибуте?

@Сергей Гарбуз welcome to the Atlassian community

You would need to create a custom field and sync the status with that field.  I would suggest using the delivered functionality and just train users on how to use the delivered product.  It does not make sense to have it twice especially since they could get out of sync causing confusion.
