We use Jira DataCenter v.8.20.6, and We hope the link doesn't open in the same browser.

Is there a way to change this setting?

Is there any way to open a link in a new tab without using the command key? Doesn't it provide a way to change the template by applying it to the jar file?

Hi @구단희 ,

I also think it is quite annoying with this issue when you can't open links in a new tab with a click. But apparently, this issue seems not been fixed by Jira yet and many people are having the same problem.

You can take a look at this link: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-Software-questions/How-to-open-links-in-new-browser-tabs/qaq-p/1348332#:~:text=That%20being%20said%2C%20most%20of,like%20any%20other%20web%20application.

Using a browser extension might be the best option.
