It appears that in JIRA that System Fields can be searched via the WAS function, supporting historical searching; however, Custom Fields do not support the WAS function.
To that end, when I type JQL involving System Field: Priority changed from Critical to Medium (for System/Native Field) – I get hits.
However, when I type JQL involving Custom Field: Severity changed from Critical to Medium (for System/Native Field) – not supported.
Need to perform some QAQC work involving a custom field Defect Severity.... to identify anytime changes were made, to ensure changes from Critical or High to either Medium or Low were justified, in compliance. Therefore, I need to know which tickets involved such a change in the Defect Severity.
