Hello fellow Atlassian community members,
Our team is beginning to build our data backup strategy. We see some resources from Atlassian regarding the use of of Backup Manager, but we would like to ask for your input for both Jira Cloud and Confluence Cloud.
Thank you in advance!
Please reference Atlassian's recommendation on data backup here:
https://www.atlassian.com/trust/security/security-practices#service-availability
"We do not use these backups to revert customer-initiated destructive changes, such as fields overwritten using scripts, or deleted issues, projects, or sites. To avoid data loss, we recommend making regular backups."
Based on the above recommendation organizations need to develop a data backup & restore strategy.
@Tiffany Vu - Are you using cloud or datacenter - of course the above recommendation is for cloud.
