I'm also curious about version management, will it make it to the next-gen project? Workaround I'm trying now is to rename Epic to Version and use them for version management. Still, native version management would be really usefull.
Will this support multiple projects on one board? I get that in bigger organisations a team might belong to a single project, however in smaller teams, the team handles multiple projects.
it's awkward the functionality changes depend on which look ( old or new design) I use. For example, I can change subtasks to tasks but cannot change stories to epics using old design. In a new design it is the opposite: Can do Epics, Cannot change sub-tasks....
How do you directly convert your classic project into a next-gen project without losing the data (versions, epics, stories/tasks/sub-tasks, development information, etc.)?
I found if I created a Next Gen project but checked off "Share settings with an existing project" under "Advanced" then my new project change back to a classic project and "Features" is not visible. If I do not check this off then the NEXT Gen project retains its template and I can see the "Features" option
@Dan Stofka Yes, we plan on adding support for more apps and integrations in the future. We're currently working with partners to get their apps supported on the new next-gen projects.
@Fredrik Lotto Versions is not available at the moment with next-gen projects. Each next-gen project can only have a single board at the moment, we will ship support for multiple boards in the future.
@MarekSpalek Yes, we plan on adding support for users to manage Versions/Releases in the next-gen project.
@Clifford Duke In the future we will offer a cross-project view.
@Filip Radulović We've been working on next-gen projects for a while but we're starting to promote them more.
@Carina Verdugo Features is only available in next-gen projects.
@DJ Strader Nope, but we are adding more features to next-gen so expect the power to grow.
@Ryan Holm You can migrate issues from a classic project to a next-gen project but you'd not be able to use features like versions and subtasks for the time being.
@Max Connolly Not at the moment, but this will be coming in the future.
