Hey @Loretta Brunette - I'm attempting to utilise the list view to avoid the need for third party plugins like JXL, which provide even more functionality.
List view is very close to sufficient for our team, but there are two critical issues:
When attempting to edit a field of an issue that is near the bottom of the screen, the drop-downs are not scrollable/usable on Firefox. I have submitted a ticket for this via https://support.atlassian.com
Selecting multiple issues using the selection checkbox is pointless - all I can do is copy their data as CSV or delete them - I can't perform any useful operations like drag and drop to tweak parentage, open them in issue view, edit a component on all of them simultaneously, etc.
What is the correct way to request that the bug is fixed (dropdowns) and the feature is added (multiple-issues editing)?
This is a great view that many appreciate. I was wondering whether this is going to be available in DC or Server versions as well, since all the information I find is about JWM and Jira cloud. Thanks in advance!
This new issue view in Jira seems like a great step forward for improving project management efficiency. The customizable layouts and advanced filtering options are a game-changer for teams with diverse workflows. However, I’m curious if anyone has noticed any limitations or bugs since the update? Also, does this view fully support integrations, like with Confluence? Would love to hear any insights or ideas from the community!
It's a good start. But things like a fixed number of Group By fields is really limiting. We use Components often, and not having a grouping by that, or Releases... that's pretty limiting.
Also not being able to export to Excel. Hopefully these things are coming soon. Atlassian often release things pretty raw, and then build on them.... slowly. So time will tell.

Is there a way to retain the Expand on Parent issues when a filter is applied? e.g. I want to see the Epics assigned to a specific lead, then expand to see the Tasks and Sub-tasks under each Epic.
Yeah, @Anne Saunders makes a good point here, when you apply a filter it removes the expand/collapse options. (it's still showing the parents and children that match the filter, but it's not as usable as the initial view with expand/collapse)
