Shared projects changes

Hi

I have two Jira projects that were set up together using the same workflow, screens etc. I now want to decouple them and have a separate workflow/screen schemes etc. I have made copies of the the screens/workflows to use on one project, but I cant find a way of changing one without impacting the other can someone help please?
