When using the Agile Wallboard-Gadget in Confluence I'm able to embed Boards from Jira Software Projects. However, I need to embed Boards from Jira Business Projects. They do not appear in this gadget and I found no other way of embedding them into Confluence.
Hello @Enrico Keil,
Thank you for reaching out to Atlassian Community!
The Agile wallboard gadget macro works only with Kanban and Scrum board from Jira Software boards. It’s not possible to select a Board from a Work Management project.
The workaround for that would be to create a Kanban or Scrum board based on the Work Management project or based on a filter that returns tickets from the JWM project.
On Jira, click on the Search box and then on Boards.
On this page, you can create a separate board that can be linked to your profile. Click on Create board > Select Scrum or Kanban > Board from an existing project (or saved filter) > Add a name, select the Work Management project and for the location, you can select your profile > Create board.
After that, you will be able to view the board on the Confluence gadget.
Kind regards,
Angélica
Hi Angélica,
thanks for your help. Using your suggested workaround I was able to embed the Kanban board in Confluence. However, a new software Project has to be created in Jira as the Kanban to hold the Kanban Board. This means double effort in maintaining permissions between the two projetcs and also it's confusing for the user in Jira, which Project ist the one to use.
Is there anything on the roadmap to better implement JWM in Confluence?

Hi Enrico,
I’m glad that I could help!
There wasn’t any suggestion for that, so based on your question I created one suggesting to add a macro to embed JWM boards on Confluence pages:
