Configure the creation of an issue in any column I need

Hello! Can you please tell me if it is possible to configure the creation of an issue in any column I need? I want to use Jira simply as a library for storing information (as can be done in Trello), rather than a task manager with a workflow, since the library will simply store information in columns by topic, and the workflow does not allow this, which is why I cannot create an issue in any column at once. Ideally, it would be great to add a function to disable the workflow, but I understand that this cannot be done. Thank you!

The feature you are looking for is not available in Jira Cloud. The different product does have different offerings to cater. Jira Cloud is designed in such a manner that phases of an issue can be tracked down. Phases here are the status and transition.

Your use case seems to be more suitable for Trello than Jira.

Jira is slightly different than Trello is that particular way of working. In Trello, you would create cards in a particular column. In Jira, would need to create the issues first and then edit the status so that it will show up in the column that you desire. Just a different way of working but the end result will be very similar.
