Hello, can someone help me if in jira workmanagement it is possible to configure that there are three approvers but that with one that approves the incident can it continue?
Hello Jorge! I hope you are doing great.
In a Jira work management project template, you can combine workflow conditions with a multi-user-picker custom field to achieve this process.
Please see the screenshots below as an example:
1. I created a user picker (multiple users) custom field in Jira and added the custom field to the corresponding screens in the project.
2. I edited this project's workflow and added conditions to the 'approve' transition.
3. Once the workflow is published, I created a test ticket and added three users to the 'Aprobadores' field. (Including myself).
4. After creating the issue, I transitioned it to the 'In Review' status and noticed I could approve the ticket because my user was in the 'Aprobadores' custom field. (The other two users would also be able to approve it.)
Note: Here, the condition you mentioned is met because if only one of the three users approves, the ticket can be transitioned to the next status.
5. However, If I remove my user from the 'Aprobadores' custom field, I will not be able to see the 'approve' transition.
Other products like Jira Service Management have a better native 'approval' process that can be configured in the workflow. I'll share the documentation related to that product if it fits your needs better. -> https://support.atlassian.com/jira-service-management-cloud/docs/what-are-approvals/
I hope this information is helpful,
Best Regards,
