Hello everyone!
Our team has several project boards that we manage in Jira, all of which involve internal company employees.
We now need to create a new project board and add an external person to it. On this board, we will be working with the external person.
Could you please advise how we can set up access so that the external user can only see and access the board we will be working on with them? They should not be able to see or access any of the other boards.
How can I configure Jira so that an external user can only see and access a specific project board, while all other boards remain invisible and inaccessible to them?
Thank you.

The external users would require to have a Jira license to access your site. To limit the permissions so that these users can only see the issues on your board, you would have to configure it:
1. Configure board > General
2. Scroll down until you see Filter permissions and click on Edit permissions
3. For the viewers, you have options: individually add users, create a group where you will add all of the external users and share your filter with this group
Hello Nikola!
Maybe I didn't explain clearly, so let me again
We have several projects with only internal employees involved. We want to create a new project and add external users to it.
In the project with external users, we will communicate with them and track the status of tasks.
However, we need to add external users in such a way that they have access only to their project and cannot see our internal projects.

Thank you for the clarification. In this case, you would have to change the permission schemes for all of your projects, except the one that you will work with your external users. You would have to change the Browse Projects permission. By default, when you create a project a project role of Any logged in user will be added. Remove this option and only leave the users that are in the current role.
