Hi,
we have both, JIRA and confluence on one linux-server and i have to secure it a bit against external access.
My attempt doing this with htaccess and user/password credentials fails because confluence need to connect to JIRA and the other way round.
Is there a known workaround or other solution?
kind regards
Hi Klaus,
The built in password protection in both JIRA and Confluence is more robust than using htaccess control so I think you might be over-engineering a bit. Provided you lock down your permissions within these products, the outside visibility is extremely limited.
