dateCompare is not working with worklogDate

Since Adaptavist Customer Portal won't let me log in anymore i'll share my problem here.
Using the scripted jql function "dateCompare" from the Jira Scriptrunner app, the system will not refer to worklogDate as a field of date or datetime.
