Why is "feature list" sprint getting created after current Jira agile sprint is completed.

Hi folks,

There is a funny behavior we are seeing. When a current sprint is closed or completed, the incomplete issues/tasks should go to the backlog. In this case we are noticing that there are going to a sprint called "feature list" which is automatically created. We are wondering what is triggering this behavior, these issues should go to the backlog. Does anyone know what is happening here?

Hi,

Any issues not completed at the end of the sprint will be moved to the next planned sprint, as they did not meet the team's definition of "Done". If you do not have a next planned sprint, they will be returned to the backlog and will be visible in Plan mode.

Is it possible that you already have previously created sprint called "feature list"? If it is next planned list (or the only one), issues are returned to this "feature list" list.

You can also go to AO_???_SPRINT table in database to see if the "feature list" is new sprint or not.
