Why can't I see the field for "estimates" in Jira?

We have subscribed to a new Jira domain only recently with a new team. In my previous work with Jira, the work with ESTIMATES (using days) was easy. Now I cannot find the field, it is not displayed and I can't find where to turn it on.

Just go to project setting> Screens and add the "Time Tracking" to the Screen scheme and you will see time ESTIMATES section for the issue type you wish. Below is the attachment

it appears that "time tracking" is enabled under the standard screen. However in my stories, all I can enable is "start date" and "due date". I still don't find the "ESTIMATE" field… :-/
